Assistant Director of Childcare
Salary Grade 17: Min $83,227 | Mid $99,872 | Max $116,517
Hiring Range: $83,227-$99,872

NATURE OF WORK:
Under general supervision, the Assistant Director of Childcare is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team; overseeing curriculum quality, consistency, and fidelity across all classrooms; providing ongoing training and coaching for Childcare Assistants and Lead Teachers; and supporting the day-to-day operational functions of Mountain Munchkins. The Assistant Director collaborates closely with the Director of Childcare/Preschool on program compliance, child assessment, and staff development, and serves as Acting Director in the Director's absence. This position also carries responsibility for Individualized Education Program (IEP) support and plan writing for children receiving special education services through the center, serving as a key liaison between families, center staff, and external service providers.
