Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Child Care Director to lead our center and ensure a high-quality learning environment for children, families, and staff. In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations, implement curriculum, manage staff, and ensure full compliance with all licensing and safety standards. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and team builder with a deep understanding of child development, early education best practices, and staff leadership.

What You’ll Do:

Oversee daily center operations, staff scheduling, and classroom support
Select and implement age-appropriate, accredited curricula for each classroom
Ensure full compliance with state, county, and Department of Education regulations
Support and coach teachers through performance management and ongoing training
Resolve staff concerns and maintain a positive, collaborative culture
Review and approve lesson plans, center communication, and learning materials
Plan enrichment activities such as in-house events and field trips
Maintain accurate records and ensure health and safety standards are met

What We’re Looking For:

Required director certification/licensing per state regulations
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
Prior experience working with children in a licensed childcare setting
Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team
In-depth knowledge of child development and classroom compliance standards
Excellent communication and organizational skills

Schedule:

Full-time
Monday–Friday

Compensation: $45,000.00 per year
